Student Shine at World of Words (WOW) KL Workshop 2025!

On 17 September 2025, 38 of our students and 4 teachers participated in the World of Words (WOW) KL workshop, held at Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara. The workshop, part of the wider WOW KL Festival, is a national initiative designed to make reading cool again by engaging youths in storytelling, writing, and forums that inspire a lifelong love of literature.

Throughout the day, our students explored a wide range of activities from storytelling exercises and creative writing workshops to financial literacy through Ringgit Rules and even a silent reading session. Teachers also joined inspiring forums on reviving reading habits and innovating reading culture in today’s digital-first generation.

The highlight of the event was the Short Story Writing Competition and we are proud to share that our student, Mikaela Teoh emerged as Champion in the competition.

These achievements not only celebrate the talent and creativity our students but also reflect the school’s commitment to fostering a strong reading culture, developing critical thinkers, and nurturing students to express themselves with confidence and conviction.
