Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur (Private)

Post Exam Activity 1 – Book-to-Play Adaptations

The Wesleyans amazingly kick-started the post exam activities with a series of incredibly entertaining plays. From The Chronicles of Narnia to The Wizard of Oz, the talented students did an extraordinary job in captivating the audience with the classics. It was apparent that a lot of hard work was put into creating the whimsical costumes and visually stunning props for the sets in attempt to transport the audience to the magically unfolding plot. Most groups even managed to include background scores which added an extra layer of excitement. Each student showcased their talents by energetically bringing their A-game to the stage. Even so, it’s only fair to say that the most impressive performance belonged to the students from class 2 Acts titled ‘The Mysterious Benedict Society’. They breathed life into the characters as each of them remarkably portrayed the unique quirks and personalities of Reynie, Kate, Sticky, and Constance. With its engaging plot, witty dialogue, and heartwarming moments, their marvelous performance left a lasting impression. Overall, every delightful performance captured the essence of the classic tale and left the audience with a sense of wonder and nostalgia.
