Alumni from across generations flooded back to Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur for a jubilant homecoming celebration, marking a nostalgic return to their alma mater. The event, filled with an array of delectable cuisines, fascinating performances, and cherished memories, brought together former students and teachers in a heartwarming display of camaraderie.

The event kicked off with an opening speech from the school principal, followed by buffet tables with an assortment of dishes that catered to every palate. Alumni reminisced over shared meals, swapping stories, and walking down their memory lanes.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly a series of performances by the school’s clubs and societies, from interesting musical performances to mesmerising dance routines, each act brought forth a wave of nostalgia and applause from the audience.

Amidst the celebration, one particular moment stood out as an alumnus – Mr. Ravinder Singh took to the stage to share his journey while he was studying at the school. With a mix of humour and humility, Ravinder reflected on the pivotal role that the school and its teachers played in shaping his path to success.

In addition to the sharing, the event also featured an online game via mobile phone – trivia quizzes that were designed to test the alumni’s knowledge of their alma mater. Participants had the opportunity to put their school smarts to the test.

For the attendees, the homecoming event was more than just a chance to relive cherished memories—it was an opportunity to rekindle old friendships, forge new connections, and reaffirm their bond with the school that shaped their lives. The event served as a poignant reminder that no matter how far life’s journey may take them, alumni will always have a home at Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur.
