Mr. Sundarappandian A/L Valusamy Honored with Anugerah Tokoh Aktivis Pemuisi Malaysia 2024

Mr. Sundarappandian A/L Valusamy has been awarded the prestigious Anugerah Tokoh Aktivis Pemuisi Malaysia 2024 (Malaysian Poetry Activist Award) for his significant contributions to the Malaysian poetry scene and his dedication to promoting poetic arts. The award will be presented during the Hari Puisi Malaysia (Malaysia Poetry Day) 2024 celebration on June 13 and 14, at the UTM Campus, Kelantan Branch, Machang.

Organized by PEMUISI in collaboration with Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka and Universiti Teknologi MARA, the Malaysia Poetry Day 2024 promises various engaging events. These include the Seminar on the Latest Developments in Malaysian Poetry, Poetry Book Discussions and Critiques, Artistic Poetry Appreciation sessions, and the Grand Celebration Night. These events aim to deepen appreciation for poetry and highlight current trends in Malaysian literature.

Mr. Sundarappandian’s recognition as the Malaysian Poetry Activist Award 2024 recipient is a highlight of the celebration.
