Wesley Students Shine at ASEAN-Malaysia Chairmanship 2025

On 30th August 2025, 64 of our talented students from the Wesley International Dikir Barat Group had the honour of performing at the Tribuana Bangsawan theatre production, held in conjunction with the ASEAN-Malaysia Chairmanship 2025 at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka.

The event featured a spirited and patriotic performance of traditional and creative Dikir Barat songs, alongside our kompang ensemble which welcomed distinguished guests with energy and pride. From Wau Bulan to Karut Perlahan and Jong-jong Inai, our students showcased their cultural passion and love for the nation through a lively and unforgettable presentation.

We are incredibly proud of our students for being given this international platform to perform and for representing Wesley with excellence, dedication, and great teamwork. From months of training to daily practices, their efforts have truly paid off, earning admiration from both the audience and the organisers.

A special thank you to our dedicated teachers and trainers for guiding the students, and to our school leaders for their unwavering support.

This experience not only elevated our school’s reputation internationally but also nurtured our students’ appreciation of culture, teamwork, and patriotism.
