Visit to Hospital Selayang Brings Joy to Children and Wesleyans

On 10th July 2024, Wesleyans from the Creative Art Club of Wesley Methodist Kuala Lumpur (Private) made a heartwarming visit to the paediatric ward of Hospital Selayang. The event, organized by the Creative Art Club, aimed to bring cheer and creative engagement to young patients, in line with the school’s mission to provide education with excellence and compassion.

The Wesleyans arrived at the hospital at 1:30 PM, filled with enthusiasm and ready to interact with the children. The visit kicked off with an art activity that lasted until 2:45 PM, giving the young patients an opportunity to express themselves through various artistic mediums. This not only provided a therapeutic distraction but also helped create a soothing and calming atmosphere within the hospital.

Following the art session, the Wesleyans performed a delightful skit until 3:00 PM. The skit was met with laughter and applause, lifting the spirits of the children. The interaction was filled with warmth and positivity, fostering a sense of community and support, reflecting the school’s core values of God-centeredness, respect for life, integrity, and excellence with humility.

This visit also embodied Wesley Methodist School’s commitment to nurturing and developing their students holistically to their fullest potential and character, making them individuals of substance and strong virtue.
